Tenerife Souvenirs...Compliments and Complaints

• the Spanish equivalent of Solpadene, Vicks and Aqueous Cream
• a more rounded tummy ( I blame the grilled fish, pasta, paella and sangria)
• bright sunny mornings while having relaxing breakfasts
• read and sleep to my heart's delight
• green tea drinking with Dennis, Rita and Trevor every night ( we do the sangria lunch time!!)
• a half a leg sunburn - i wore long shorts you see ;-)
• 365 photos all in all
• a beautifully crafted wooden necklace
• two very good imitation of a pashmina (not bad for 10 Euro)
• a polished stone believed to be part of Mt Teide (we were told not to take any rock, rubble etc. from Teide but the gift shop sells them!!)
• rude hotel guests (they have not seen a Filipina before?!? - honestly i was not being paranoid)
• time share touts
